The terms & conditions (“Terms”) apply to all goods and services available under the domain name www.prettysmart.co.nz (“Website”) and all Pretty Smart Art classes or workshops. Upon booking with Pretty Smart Art the purchaser signifies their agreement to be bound by these terms.

1. Bookings and Payments
1.1 All bookings will be subject to space availability and will be confirmed by Pretty Smart Art.
1.2 Pretty Smart Art will confirm booking placement in the class or workshop ONCE payment has been provided.
1.3 Full term fees must be paid before the class commencement date.
1.4 Pro-rata of total fee is calculated for enrolments mid- term.
1.5 Pretty Smart Art classes are on a "first in first served" basic. No holds on classes will be offered.

2. Classes
2.1 Class numbers are capped at 12 students.
2.2 Classes will start at stated time. Participants must be punctual to be present for all demonstrations at the beginning of a lesson.
2.3 Participants must be picked up within 5 minutes of finishing time, failure to do so will incur an additional fee Matua Hall is booked for set times.
2.4 Participants are required to stay within Matua Hall at all times and will not be released to the playground.
2.5 Parents / caregivers are required to sign participants in and out. A participant can come directly from Matua Primary without proper sign in ONLY by prior arrangement. Pretty Smart Art must be informed if someone other than the parent / caregiver or emergency contact is picking up student prior to the class commencement.
2.6 Class rules are to be followed by all participants to maintain health and safety standards. Any disruptive behaviour will be discussed with parent / caregivers.
2.8 Absences must be informed of prior to class commencement.
 
3. Cancellation and refunds
3.1 Refunds by Pretty Smart Art will incur an administration fee on $20
3.2 A notice period of 7 day is required for cancellation of booking before the scheduled commencement date, for a full refund less the administration fee.
3.3 A 50% refund less the administration fee for cancellation between 6 to 1 days prior, and no refund is offered 24 prior the class commencement. (Resources are purchased for booked numbers).

4. Health and Safety
4.1 Class participants must follow class rules at all times and adhere safety guidelines when using tools and materials.
4.2 Participants are expected to respect the workspace, tools and materials provided and handle with care.
4.3 Participants are expected to participate in cleaning up own work stations and pack up at the end of the lesson, as an active participant of a positive working environment.
4.4 Pretty Smart Art will not be liable for any damage to a students clothing. Participants will be required to bring additional protective clothing and when necessary Pretty Smart Art will provide a disposable apron.
4.4 Participants will remain within Matua Hall at all times during class time.
4.5 Respectful and positive language – to peers and their artwork. Treat others the way we would like to be treated. 
4.6 Disclaimer: Participants attending a Pretty Smart Art class acknowledge the use of materials such paint, ink, charcoal, pastels, pens, dye, art chemicals, tools and utensils that can be dangerous (allergy or harm) and are used at the participants own risk.

5. Artwork
5.1 Artwork in progress may be stored with Pretty Smart Art, providing they are clearly named. Worked will be stored with care, however no liability is accepted in the event of any lost or damaged artwork.
5.2 Pretty Smart Art will not hold onto any unclaimed artwork beyond the term or workshop timetabled. All work must be collected, failure to do so may result in the artwork either becoming the property fo Pretty Smart Art or disposal.

6. Privacy policy and photography
6.1 Pretty Smart Art respects the privacy of all participants.
6.2 Any information provided upon booking with Pretty Smart Art will be solely used for the purposes of Pretty Smart Art classes and will not be shared with any third parties.
6.3 Pretty Smart Art operates a email subscription and will solely be used for marketing purposes, new classes, email newsletters. Participants' can unsubscribe at any time.
6.4 Photography of participants at work, artwork or participants presenting their art will be taken during class time for website, social or marketing purposes ONLY with parental / caregiver permission. Pretty Smart Art will not share images without prior parental / caregiver approval. If the check box is not ticked, Pretty Smart Art will check with participants' and parent / caregiver if images can be used without faces shown.
6.5 Pretty Smart Art will only share images within our own art class community purposes and will not provide images to any third party.
